Sat and Sun

Well, once again it was a travel day.  This is going to be Sajel's first plane ride!  After a night with not a lot of sleep we all went to the restaurant for breakfast.(yes, i was up early enough).  We then went to the airport and Jessica experianced a "real" Indian airport.  If you watch Russel Peters you know what I mean!  We had to wait in a long line for our boarding passes and of course there is NO AC.  After about 45 min we finally get to go through security.  Thankfully on the other side is the promised land.....a room with AC!  The first leg of our trip is to Delhi and Sajel does very well.  She basically just slept the entire plane ride.  She whimpered a little on takeoff and landing from the pressure but it was only seconds.  Jessica rubbed her ears and she was ok.
Once we arrive in Delhi, we have to collect all our luggage and exit then go back to security again as they would not book our luggage straight to Goa.  Than really stunk but we made it.  The second leg was the same as the first.  She slept the whole way.
We arrived at Goa at 530 and came out of the airport to a beautiful place.  It was nice and sunny, a great breeze and very comfortable.  It was about an hour ride to the resort and along the way Jessica got a shirtful of vomit from Sajel.  I think that the desiel smell from the bus in front of us got to her. Luckily we were only a few minutes away from the resort.
After we got to our room, we just relaxed and had some dinner.  Sajel is still not well so we are having a doctor come see her in the morning.

Sunday(today), we got up at around 5am.  Sajel slept pretty well most of the night.  She woke up at about 230 but went right back to sleep.   She still has been running a fever and not eating anything.  The doctor came today and took a look at her.  He prescribed some medications, including a antibiotic.  Between a fever, cough, congestion, probably some bug in her stomach and a couple new teeth coming in, she is pretty miserable.
She has bonded quite well with Jessica.  It will take some time for me.  I kind of expected this seeing as there are basically no men that she was in contact with.  It's a little difficult not being able to help take care of her.  Oh well, time will help.
New Flash - Jessica has Delhi belly!  Drink lots of water.  I told her to brush her teeth with bottled water, but did she listen?!!
Well hopefully both my girls will feel better soon.  Talk to you soon,

Marcus
